Character History:[]

Serena Baldwin is the daughter of Scott Baldwin and Dominique Stanton. When Dominique learned that she was dying she wanted to leave him with a part of her. Dominique knew that there was very good chance that she couldn't live long enough to carry the baby to term so she was carried by Lucille "Lucy" Coe. Dominque later died from her illness before Serenea was born. Scott and Lucy named Serena, after the Stanton family estate named Serenity. Soon after Serena's birth, Scott took her and fled to Canada to hide from the mob that was trying to steal the fortune that was left to him and Serena.

In early 1997, Scott returned to Port Charles without Serena because she had been kidnapped. It was later revealed that Danielle Ashley (Serena's aunt) and Rex Stanton (Serena's great-uncle) had taken Serena and planned to use her to gain access to her trust fund. Serena was later reunited with Scott.

Scott and Lucy later married and Lucy adopted Serena. Scott and Lucy also adopted a daughter whom they named Christina Baldwin. Scott and Lucy later divorced and Lucy married Kevin Collins.

Serena was later mentioned to be living in Paris, France with Lucy and Kevin and to be attending school. It is assumed she is still there as both Lucy and Kevin returned to Port Charles.
